NUM and ESWA to host Sex Work and Mental Health Event

National Ugly Mugs, along with the European Sex Workers’ Rights Alliance and other members, are delighted to be hosting an online conference on sex work and mental health on October 6 at 10 AM (GMT). This event launches the resources developed by ESWA during the program on sex work and mental health, funded by ILGA Europe, as well as the community-inclusive research by Dr PG Macioti, Dr Giulia Garofalo Geymonat and Prof. Nicola Mai. The panellists will present community-led initiatives on mental health as well as recommendations to mental health professionals, policy-makers, funders and other stakeholders.
We invite anyone with an interest in sex work and mental health to come along, including sex workers, practitioners, activists and allies. We particularly encourage people involved in a community-led project on sex work and mental health to come and talk about their project during the discussion. This is a place to learn from each other and exchange best practices.
