Online events in July

This July we have online opportunities for community-building, tax advice, and for safe and direct vocational advice for sex workers. As well as these online sessions, we host in-person drop-ins in Glasgow twice a week at NUMbrella Lane, and a monthly Manchester session.

Community Drop-in with Louise | 22 July

Wherever you are, you have a home here. Working in the sex industry can be isolating, especially when you live or work outside of a city. We often support people who want to meet fellow workers, but don’t know where to begin. Caseworker Louise hosts casual online sessions for people to build their networks, and connect with each other.

Tax Return Body Doubling Space | 23 July

Ditch the stress and get a head start on your tax return!

On Thursday 23rd July, we’re providing a space to complete your admin tasks alongside your peers and tackle burning tax questions. If there is anything you are unsure of, pop in and we’re here to help.

Vocational Support Accelerated Workshop | 29 July

A space to explore your career, financial and educational goals. Designed by sex workers, this is our full workshop course packed with knowledge and advice to teach you how to get where you want to be. The course covers tips for mainstream recruitment, displaying your skillset, developing a powerful CV, and planning your next steps.

As a dedicated support service, we aim to ensure that some NUM events are attended by sex workers only. To register for a sex-worker only event, you must be a NUM member and access the Members’ Area.
