We are delighted that Dr. Kate Lister from Leeds Trinity University will be publishing her second book – Harlots, Whores & Hackabouts: A History of Sex For Sale – alongside a launch event to support NUM’s work!
The launch event will take place online between 6-7pm (GMT) on Thursday 30th September 2021. Kate will discuss her new book and share stories of those who sold sex for a living, in an entertaining and informative discussion. The event will be live-streamed on Wellcome Collection’s YouTube channel and available to watch afterwards. After booking a ticket, you will receive a confirmation email with joining instructions. Booking a ticket allows you to comment and ask questions live online using YouTube Live Chat and via Slido during the event.
Dr. Lister, perhaps best known for being behind Twitter page Whores Of Yore, published her first book, A Curious History of Sex, last year. If you would like to get your hands on a copy of her latest book, click here!
