NUM Statement on Trans-Inclusivity and the Supreme Court Ruling

National Ugly Mugs is trans-inclusive and critical of biological determinism which has historically been used against trans people, racialised folk, and disabled communities.

We are therefore saddened by the news of the UK Supreme Court ruling.

NUM will always be a place of safety and warmth for sex workers of all genders, where your identity is respected and your lived experience is cherished. Fighting for the rights of sex workers means fighting for the rights of all. Each of us is deserving of recognition, dignity and protection from harm.
