NUM x Vagina Museum pop up

Calling all sex worker artists! National Ugly Mugs (NUM) is teaming up with The Vagina Museum for a pop up exhibition in November to showcase and amplify the artistic voices of sex workers in the UK.
NUM is a UK-wide charity that supports sex workers’ safety, rights, and wellbeing through advocacy, resources, and community-led services. We’re looking for existing work, created by current or former sex workers. All genders and forms of SW welcome, but artists must be over 18. You can use a pseudonym or remain anonymous. All levels of artist welcome, and we particularly encourage applications from those without formal art training, who have never exhibited before, or who are who are LGBTQIA+, part of racialised or migrant communities, or are d/Deaf or disabled or neurodivergent.
We have a small number of access bursaries available for artists to support delivery of artwork or to visit the exhibition. Details will be discussed with successful applicants
Artwork should be 2D, framed and / or mirror plated, and you must be able to post or deliver it to Sunderland, London, Glasgow, or Manchester. Please contact us if you have any questions or need support with this.
Deadline: 3rd November at midnight.
